![]() ![]() We all have to remember that the proof of the pudding isn't just the hardware design (look at the Wii). Sony have dropped the ball a little bit this gen but MS have also upped their proposition coupled with some fine titles and aggressive price points and marketing. I think its so good I bought one for upstairs not because of RROD! It's not that my PS3 isn't impressive - it is kind of, its just that I think the 360 is a more complete package and the PS3 isn't the blow everything away piece of kit the PS2 and the PSX was before it, and not as good as Sony had us believe before they launched. I have all 3 machines this gen yet my personal choice is my two 360's. I said some SDF! The evidence of this has been clear to see for well over a year. This may mean that SOME PS3 x platform titles suffer. Devs who make cross format want the quickest and simplest method to market and that is the 360. Some can get the best out of them but it takes time and money. Both machines are more similar than fanboys would want to confess. I don't normally go to the trouble of replying to much on here due to all the kiddie fanboy unintelligent missinformed rubbish but you are spot on my friend. That concept is not hard to grasp, so for the love of God, stop defending your console of choice so much (This is directed towards everyone). Sure, there's always going to be the odd game that really does show off what a console can do (Come on, there's PS2 games that wouldn't look out of place in this generation), but at the end of the day, the majority of games are multi-platform and the majority of games run about the same on both the PS3 and the 360. Now before you click the "disagree" button because you genuinely believe the PS3 is some sort of supercomputer, please note that I am not undermining it's power at all (In fact, I have stated that it IS very powerful), nor am I showing favour to the 360, what I am trying to say is that in the end, both consoles are more equal than some people let on. This is why I keep saying that the 360 and PS3 are quite similar in terms of power in the end, it's hard to get the potential power out of the PS3, yet relatively easy to get the most out of the 360, in the end it balances. It doesn't matter how powerful it is, if you can't unlock that power easily, it's going to go to waste, isn't it? At least with the 360, it's supposedly easy to develop for, so you can spend a little more time optimising to make things run a bit better. Yeah, the hardware inside a PS3 is pretty damn powerful, but it's not easy to use. ![]() Now, it's easy to blame the developers for all this and say they're "Lazy" or whatever, but I mean, that's a lot of games with lower framerates, what gives? Up to four players can play against each other in the local multiplayer "party play" mode, and an online multiplayer mode allows players to connect to games over the internet and take part in various competitive or cooperative activities. This isn't necessarily a problem with the PS3, per se, but obviously it's not the only game to suffer framerate issues on that console that weren't present on the 360. Tricks can be used to complete challenges, such as racing and trick contests, which earn the player money that can be used to buy clothes and property or bet on events. Players create their own character and perform tricks such as ollies and grabs to earn points. Set in the fictional city of San Vanelona, the single-player career mode follows a skateboarder released from jail five years after being arrested in the first game, Skate, who is tasked with popularising skateboarding in the city again after devastating earthquakes, avoiding security guards hired by the company "Mongocorp" who have bought most of the city's property. It is the sequel to the 2007's Skate and the third installment in the Skate series overall. The game was released worldwide in January 2009 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 after the spin-off title Skate It. Skate 2 (stylized as skate 2) is a skateboarding video game developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts.
